Tasting Notes October 2018 Harvest

The aromas are really herbaceous with culinary herbs, salad leaves and light citrus. There are also hints of fruity fruit tones such as apples, pears and bananas.

The flavour in the mouth offers a sweet salad bowl of leaves with some herbs and tomato vine stalks. Well mixed rocket bitterness and pepper follow on but never swamp the fruit. These elements fade slightly into the attractive after taste of green bananas with more salad leaves and tomato vines.

This is a very attractive, herbaceous and fruity oil with complexity and depth. Delicate to medium in style with very well-balanced pepper and bitterness. It would lend itself to most culinary applications, adding its own flavours to a wide range of dishes.
