Tasting Notes October 2019 Harvest

Strongly aromatic hedgerow aroma of leaves and stalks with tomato vines and green apple skins.  Even more interest comes from strong salad leaves, culinary herbs and a touch of citrus.

Very similar tastes in the mouth with rocket, watercress, bay and basil together with bitter almond skins, tobacco and black tea.  Plenty of pepper is added to the mix, softening into an attractive after taste of crushed almonds in their skins with sweet biscuits and creamy caramel.

This is medium style of oil with complex depth and very well balanced fruit, bitterness and pepper.

This excellent oil is full of character, offering really attractive aromas and tastes from nose to after-taste.  Use it in almost all culinary applications and as a dip or flavouring in its own right.
